Rainbird Geo Selected for KASA Public-Private Delegation

Spearheading Expansion into Southeast Asian Space Markets Including Indonesia and Malaysia

RainbirdGEO has been selected to join the public-private delegation to Southeast Asia, organized by the Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA). The company participated in a series of space industry seminars held consecutively in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on a schedule from July 27 to August 1.

Daeun (Day) Yi, Project Manager (PM) for Rainbird Geo, who attended as the company’s representative, introduced the company at the New Space events held in Indonesia and Malaysia during the trip. Following the presentations, she conducted cooperation meetings with the national meteorological agencies and various related organizations in both countries.

KASA announced that the Public-Private Delegation project aims to achieve objectives such as enhancing the understanding of space policy among participating nations, sharing technology and business models between companies, and vitalizing networking between government and industry. KASA also committed to actively supporting globally competitive companies like RainbirdGEO.
