[The Five Island Countries in The Pacific Ocean] Development and Adaptation of The Localized Climate Information and Early Warnings to Reach Communities at The Last Mile.

With the support of the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and Green Climate Fund (GCF), the objective of this project is to develop and localize early warning algorithms and systems for communicating weather-related hazards and alerts to residents through mobile communication channels in five Pacific island countries: Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, Nauru, and Cook Islands. The project aims to ensure that the developed early warning system is sustainable and operational on an ongoing basis, tailored to the local context of each country.
