Project Overview
Project Duration: October 2023 – March 2026
Project Description: Supported by Save the Children Korea, this project aims to develop a multi-hazard early warning system for the Bandung region in Indonesia using satellite data from Korea’s GK2A (GEO-KOMPSAT-2A). Additionally, the project supports community-led climate change adaptation and resilience-building activities in the region.
1st Field Survey in Bandung
Survey Duration: October 8 – October 14, 2023
Survey Results: By engaging with local residents in Bandung, we gained a deeper understanding of the region’s characteristics and collected their feedback, contributing to the enhancement of the project’s overall quality.

2nd Field Survey in Bandung
Survey Duration: January 11 – January 15, 2025
Survey Results: During the second visit to Bandung, the test version of the Indonesian mobile app “AwasBencana” developed through the project was introduced to local residents. Their feedback was gathered to further refine and enhance the app’s functionality and effectiveness.
