[Asian Development Bank] Cambodia Women’s Heat Resilience Enhancement Project

Project Overview

  • Project Duration: September 2024 – January 2026
  • Project Description: RainbirdGEO is participating in the “Strengthening Women’s Resilience to Heat Stress in Asia and the Pacific” project, led by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This project focuses on developing a Heat Wave early warning system for Cambodia using Korea’s GK2A (GEO-KOMPSAT-2A) satellite data. Additionally, it supports activities aimed at enhancing women’s resilience and adaptive capacity to heat stress. In the future, this system is planned to be expanded beyond Cambodia to other Pacific region countries.

ADB Conference Business Trip

  • Trip Duration: November 6 – November 13, 2024
  • Trip Outcome: Participation in the ADB-hosted conference provided an opportunity to establish close cooperation with project-related organizations and lay the foundation for the project. Additionally, it served as a valuable platform to effectively promote RainbirdGEO’s technological expertise.
